Walking in Freedom, Women's One Step is Calvary Chapel Monrovia's addiction recovery ministry for women. It is led by Sister Margie Lopez and it’s a biblically based setting towards women who are struggling with their dependency on drugs, alcohol or any addictive behaviors. This ministry meets every Thursday evening, from 7pm-9pm. The main focus and objective is to bring women into a saving relationship of the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ through the biblical teachings of the scripture and simply to walk in freedom from their struggle or addiction. Always reminding those that attend this group setting to focus on walking in freedom and being set free in Christ from those bondages or addiction that it is very much attainable through God's word "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" John 8:32.
